In the response to the needs for more accessible information, standardized
engineering, a focused strategy for marketing and greater cooperation with
government agencies, a core group of commercial sidecar firms formed the Sidecar
Industry Council in 1997. The SIC produces information for distribution to potential
sidecarists and the motorcycle press and assists with sidecar promotion at various
regional and national events.

SIC -Sidecar Industry Council was formed in 1997 with the assistance of Doug Bingham aka "Mr. Sidecar" . Sadly Doug passed away in 2016 and his colleague Dave Tice kept the SIC operational. The torch has now been passed down to the board members at the SIC which was formed by Von Baron, LLC. and Watsonian Squire. We look forward to keeping you informed in all matters in the sidecar industry.

Griffith Park, Los Angeles, California the last one was held October 11, 2015 SIC and Watsonian Squire USA is looking to re opening the venue in 2017. This event was previously operated by the late Doug Bingham and we all thank him for his service to the industry.

Mark your calendars for the biggest Vintage Motorcycle show in South Florida! Over 350 antique bikes will be judged under the trees at beautiful Frost Park in Dania Beach. There will be live music, vendors, bike parts swap meet, food, Harley skill team demonstrations, motorcycle field games, Roller Derby Girls, vintage bicycle display, kiddy play area and more! The event is FREE to the public with a fee to enter bikes and proceeds benefit Stray Aid & Rescue and Southeastern Guide Dogs
So bring the whole family for a day of sun and fun!
